Who for
The businesses behind the promenades
Benidorm lives from its visitors, and from the bars, restaurants, shops and offices that serve them. More than 350 local businesses joined the city's own shop-local campaign in 2024 alone, and the city reported the lowest unemployment rate in the Valencian region in 2025, at 9.41 %. Those are the places we work for: pubs on the Rincón de Loix, restaurants in the old town, shops in the centre, and the agencies and offices that run the city's apartments.
Hotels and aparthotels are left out of this page on purpose. Their doors, their systems and their hours are different, and they are covered on the page for hotels.

Access
Getting to you in the old town and on the promenades
The old town and the Calvari neighbourhood are restricted to authorised vehicles, and the Levante and Poniente promenades are inside the low emission zone. For businesses there, a visit is planned with the van parked at the nearest permitted street and the tools carried in. Tell us your nearest cross street when you book.

What shop and bar owners ask
The shutter lock has seized and we cannot open this morning.
Ring straight away: that is a lockout, and it is attended like one. The shutter is opened, and if the lock needs replacing it is done then or booked for after closing.
A member of staff has left with a set of keys.
Change the cylinders on every door those keys open, including the shutter. It is a short job when it is planned, and it can be done after closing time.
Who can authorise work on the premises?
The owner of the business, a director, or the tenant named on the lease. A manager can book the work, but for an opening we need to hear from someone with that authority.
Can you work at night so we do not close?
Planned work can be booked before opening or after closing. Tell us your hours and the window you can give us.
