What happens? You confirm on the phone, or better in writing on WhatsApp, that the guest is staying in your flat and that you authorise the opening. We check the guest's booking against what you tell us, open the door and tell you how it went. ### A guest left with the keys. Do I need a new cylinder? If the keys come back by post, not necessarily. If they are lost, or you cannot be sure where they are, yes: a set of keys and a booking confirmation showing your address is not something to leave in circulation. ### The lock box by the door has jammed with the keys inside. It happens, especially to boxes left out in the sun and the sea air. The box is opened, the keys recovered, and if it is past saving you are told so and can choose a sturdier one. ### Can you keep a record of my properties? Yes. A list of addresses, floors, doors and the cylinder each one takes means a call from a guest at night starts with the facts already known.
